Posing rather than Running with Scissors
Somewhere in California
Those who never run with scissors are forever destined to pose with scissors. Don’t be a poser, take a risk once in a while. Have a great week from El Niño Angeleno.
Raised in KoreaTown neighborhoods of Los Angeles in the 1960s, Silver Lake’s Sunset Junction in the 1970s and 1980s, a survivor of Hollywood catholic schools and an all boys prep school in the Valley, a graduate of John Marshall High School in Los Feliz and Cal Poly Pomona, I have called Southern California my home all my life. I am extremely passionate about my hometown and never have left despite riots, earthquakes, congestion and economic downturns. Some have called me overly possessive about the City of Angels others just say nostalgic. I speak fluent Spanish and proud to do so. A 9 to 5 civil servant by day, I am a photographer and an amateur photo historian when time permits and enjoy sharing my photos and stories about growing up in Los Angeles.
Despite being a champion speller in grade school and having the help of modern day spell checkers today, I can't spell to save my life, but I fancy myself a writer. I hope you enjoy this blog.
